Lost golem
Audio Branding | Designers: Yair Ramirez & Led Ramirez
Lost Golem is an art toy brand from Mexico City. Their concept is based on the idea that each of their golems is lost and searching for their human connection within the grayness of big cities. They wanted a musical theme, plus variations, for their different products and later for a comic adaptation.
Original music is based on japanese video-games like Legend of Zelda. The addition of sound design and foley elements to the music helps portraying the city as part of the golem’s nature.
branded music
First, a theme for the family of golems was created. Golems emerge from the guts of cities and the idea is that you find your perfect match in the midst of the citadine chaos. They emerge from the mud but become a part of you, hence the introspective nature of the theme, which evolves into a circus of sounds with a happier tone.
sound logo
The sound logo consists of a mixture of cartoonish sounds that mimic the Golems, the voices of the different characters and musical elements which quote the main theme.
other applications
Another version of the theme, echoing a western aesthetic, accompanies the presentation of a new Golem. The main theme is malleable enough to be used in all kinds of contexts.
